Legal Information and Advice Clinics

CANCELLATION NOTICE: Due to concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, SEOLS has converted all of our in-person clinics to virtual meetings until further notice.

If you have a time sensitive legal issue that cannot wait until the clinics restart, please call our intake line, 1-833-288-2936, to determine whether additional help is available. We are adding services to address critical needs. Please refer back to this page often. We will be posting updates as the situation changes.

CLINIC UPDATE: The Ross County Brief Advice Clinic will be staffed by the Justice Bus on July 16. Clients are welcome to attend this in-person clinic at Orchard Hill United Methodist Church, 105 N. Courtland Dr., Chillicothe. Sign in begins at 4:45 p.m.

SEOLS sponsors free legal clinics, in collaboration with local bar associations, in Athens, Belmont, Coshocton, Fairfield, Gallia, Hocking, Knox, Licking, Meigs, Muskingum, Perry, Pike, Scioto, Tuscarawas, Vinton and Washington Counties. These clinics give low-income residents the opportunity to have a brief face-to-face meeting with an attorney and to receive pro se form pleadings when appropriate. Clinics are an excellent opportunity for attorneys to volunteer with a small time commitment.
